These children are not here to fit into the status quo, they are here to help us transcend it. They begin to flourish with parents and educators who can understand what they have to share and support them with the guidance and education to be who they are.
Welcome. I’m Kim Southerland.
As an educational therapist with over thirty years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, as well as a parent myself, I understand how confusing it can be to raise children in a world and in educational systems that have not caught up to the multidimensional capacities and gifts our newer generations have to offer.
My practice is designed to help parents move from confusion and challenge to clarity and ease, and to help your child live a fulfilling life and express their true nature. The children today have enormous gifts to share, yet too many are struggling in one-size-fits-all, high-pressure environments that encourage fitting in over authentic expression.
They begin to truly flourish with parents, educators, and other caring adults who can understand them, support them for who they are, and help them realize their unique potential.
