Approach

Rather than coming from the mindset that your child needs to be fixed or changed, our work together uses a thoughtful approach that focuses on helping your child feel empowered to express their true self and realize their unique potential.

If your child is just beginning their educational journey, Integrative Educational Therapy will help your child establish a foundation grounded in their overall well-being. If you have already tried several options, and feel stuck, or your child continues to be negatively affected by years of limiting labels, time-consuming interventions, and still feels misunderstood, my passion is to help you get to the root cause: to help your child or adolescent restore balance, confidence, and self-worth, and ultimately, bring forth their many gifts, passions, and intrinsic motivation to live the life they are here to express.


How to Begin

INTAKE SESSION

Upon receipt of intake forms, we begin with a 50-minute parent consultation to discuss your child’s needs, address questions and concerns, gather input, and provide an understanding of my practice. and determine how to proceed in our work together

PERSONALIZED PLANS

After our intake meeting, we schedule another session to go over your personalized plan. Every plan is customized for each child and family, and is designed to help your child set a foundation for lifelong well-being or restore balance and rebuild your child’s sense of self.

SESSIONS

If we choose to continue a more comprehensive plan in our work together, we will proceed with weekly or bi-weekly private sessions. Each online session is 60 minutes in length. Ongoing parent support is an important factor to set a foundation that supports you, your child, and your family.

    We begin our time together building connection in an environment in which your child feels safe to be themselves — the precursor to learning, motivation, and inspiration.

  • Individualized Plans

    Every session is unique and designed for the specific needs of your child. They will develop an understanding of their strengths, interests, talents, and traits, while experiencing a safe space to explore areas of challenge.

  • Educational Support

    My goal is to help your child embrace their unique learning style, discover the many capabilities hidden under labels of disability, while providing guidance on the tools and resources that will support their learning experience to be one of greater joy and inspiration.

    Many children and adolescents have different expressions of intelligence, sensitivities, and developmental timeframes that rarely correlate to age/grade based norms. With this understanding we build a bridge to the hidden capabilities often masked as learning disabilities, and utilize pioneering teachings that support their overall learning experience.

  • Inner Wisdom

    Together, your child and I go beyond an education for the mind, to access their heart and inner wisdom. They learn tools to support heightened sensitivities (i.e.,.energetic awareness, empathy, accelerated intuition, sensory sensitivities), develop healthy boundaries, and build resilience and trust in their capacity to navigate their life.

  • True Self

    When education is utilized to support your child’s natural expression, the result is a genuine sense of well-being and wholeness rather than a life based on achievement for the sake of external approval.
