Integrative Educational Therapy
Children & Adolescents
An educational approach that meets both the challenges today's children face — and the multidimensional capacities they have to share
Approach
Not fixing. Revealing.
My work begins with the belief that your child does not need to be fixed or changed, they simply need to be supported for who they are. I approach each child as a unique individual, with the overall goal being to support their ability to reach their true potential, and live a fulfilling life.
This is also for the adolescent who appears to be thriving — and isn't. High-achieving and driven — yet quietly exhausted, overwhelmed, and running on empty. Showing up, performing, and pushing through — while privately experiencing a toll on their mental or physical health that is becoming impossible to ignore.
As a parent you may sense something needs to change — and feel caught between protecting your child's wellbeing and keeping their future options open.
There is a way through. It begins with understanding what your child truly needs — not just to achieve, but to truly flourish.
your child?
Integrative Educational Therapy is designed for children and adolescents who are not yet being fully understood — or fully supported — by the environments around them.
Diagnosed with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, twice-exceptionality, processing differences, or autism
Highly sensitive, empathic, or intuitive — feeling everything deeply and struggling to understand why
Gifted, creative, or deeply passionate — with abilities that traditional schooling doesn't know how to nurture
Anxious, school-resistant, perfectionistic, or struggling with self-worth and confidence
Experiencing executive functioning, attention, or organizational challenges
Dysregulated, defiant, or overwhelmed — not because something is wrong, but because something hasn't yet been understood
High-achieving and driven — yet quietly exhausted, overwhelmed, and running on empty
Struggling with belonging — feeling different from peers in ways that are hard to name or explain
These children are not behind. They are not broken. They simply need to be understood differently — and supported to realize their true potential.
What sessions look like
An education built around your child.
Kim’s goal is simple — to utilize education as a tool to help every child truly thrive. Not just in school, but in all areas of life.
Every family begins with an intake meeting where we explore what is needed and where to begin — whether that means starting with your child, with you as a parent or educator, or both. From there, we create a plan together — one that draws on decades of personal and professional experience and is built around long-term understanding rather than short-term fixes.
Sessions are fully individualized and draw from a wealth of experience working with the unique needs and gifts of today's generation — meeting each child exactly where they are, and building from there.
The goal is not just a child who performs better. It is a child — and a family — who have found the clarity, connection, and joy they truly deserve.
they notice.
& Self-Worth
Children begin to see themselves differently — not as less than or behind, but as capable, unique, and full of potential.
of Learning
When learning is built around who a child is, curiosity and motivation return naturally — without force or pressure.
& Ease
Anxiety decreases, outbursts soften, and children develop real tools for understanding and managing their inner world.
& Direction
Children begin to trust themselves — to know who they are, what they value, and what they are here to contribute.
